My Go-To Travel Beauty Essentials

I try and keep my beauty and skincare routine pretty minimal while I’m traveling. The one thing I let go of during travel is my makeup routine; especially if I’m traveling somewhere really hot. If I could have only one makeup item for the rest of my life it would definitely be eyeliner. I am newly obsessed with Sephora’s new gel pencil eyeliner. It does not budge after you apply it even through the heat. My skin isn’t too bad but I still like to use a little concealer on my cheeks for the redness and sunspots to even it out a bit. Right now I’m using Revlon Photoready concealer. I used to use Covergirl Olay concealer but they discontinued it! (You can still find some old ones on Amazon).

My Go-To Travel Beauty Essentials

I am all about protecting my skin, I wish I had started sooner (hello sunspots!). At home I have a more intense skincare routine but try and minimize it on the road. I use two kinds of facewash, Cetaphil for everyday and St. Ives scrub for when I feel like my skin is getting grimy from being outside all day exploring which it seems to do more on the road than in the city. I recently picked up Lumene Pure Radiance Day Cream just because of it’s container (I’m all about tubs instead of tubes) and ended up loving it. Of course being outside all day I need my Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen and I can’t go anywhere without a lip balm. My favorite is Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Balm.
